The first briefing on Tuesday is a "Training and Doctrine Command Enterprise" briefing by Gen. Martin E. Dempsey, TRADOC commanding general, from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Maj. Gen. David C. Halverson, CG of the Fires Center of Excellence and Fort Sill, will give his "State of the Fires" address from 10:30 to noon.

Kenneth Hunzeker, deputy CG of Multi-National Force-Iraq, addresses "Operation Iraqi Freedom Joint and Combined Fires" 3 to 4:30 to finish the center-level Web casts.
Both the field artillery and air defense artillery branches will hold separate branch-level briefings on May 20. The air defense artillery schedule is online at http://www.fortsillfires.com/ada/index.html. The field artillery schedule is online at http://www.fortsillfires.com/fa/index.html.
DCO webcasting lets viewers give feedback to service providers and the briefer in real time. The Fires Seminar had similar Web casting last year. The staff asks viewers to keep their personal conversations on the DCO system to a minimum.
Another change this year is that system operators at the seminar will require that questions include individual's name, rank, unit, location and e-mail address. Last year, some questions were not addressed during the briefing and operators did not contact information to get a response back to the questioner.
