Change is never easy. Intellectual change should always precede physical change, and there is an emotional component to overcome as well. Continued learning and adaptation will require hard work and even more leadership. Don't forget our organizational culture has been criticized in the past, often validly, as predisposed to fight conventional enemies using conventional doctrine and tactics. While we will likely face traditional threats again in the future, we know that we must be capable of much more in this century ahead.
