Adm. Mike Mullen visits Pittsburgh about veterans' benefits

PITTSBURGH (Apr. 19, 2010) - Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, spoke at a town hall meeting at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum at the University of Pittsburgh here prior to a panel discussion on veterans' benefits. Mullen said part of the reason he came to Pittsburgh was due to the city's reputation as a scientific and medical community, dealing with some of the signature injuries of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan such as traumatic brain injuries and burns.
