3rd BSTB welcomes new level-one fighters

Soldiers and leadership of the 3rd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, give recent level-one combatives graduates a standing ovation, March 19 at Contingency Operating Site Kalsu, Iraq. Twenty Soldiers walked across the stage, at the battalion headquarters, to receive their certificates after the one-week course was complete.

Level-one combative graduates from the 3rd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, get a pre-graduation motivational talk from Sgt. 1st Class Pablo Palomar, battalion operations noncommissioned officer-in-charge, before a ceremony March 19 at Contingency Operating Site Kalsu, Iraq. The one-week class taught over 40 hand-to-hand combat maneuvers. Twenty-two Soldiers began the BSTB-organized course, and 20 marched across the stage at graduation day to receive their certificate.
