Fort Sill federal employees are eligible to compete for state-wide recognition. Winners in all categories are recognized at a luncheon in Norman.

In addition, all Fort Sill employees nominated by their organization will be recognized at a local ceremony.

Leaders should encourage nominations and submit them to Fort Sill Civilian Personnel Action Center by Jan. 28 to considered.

Directorates and units may submit just one candidate for each category. The nomination packet is online at: www.oklahoma.feb.gov/Forms/2010AwardNominationPkg.doc.

Please use the form from the link to access the 2010 nomination package developed and sponsored by the Oklahoma FEB.

The package provides additional information about the program and provides the forms and format required for nomination.

There are 11 nomination categories with specific criteria for each:

A'a,!A ' Supervisory

A'a,!A ' Technical, Professional and Administrative GS-9 and above

A'a,!A ' Technical, Professional and Administrative GS-8 and below

A'a,!A ' Clerical/Administrative Assistant

A'a,!A ' Trades and Crafts

A'a,!A ' Outstanding Law Enforcement Employee

A'a,!A ' Outstanding Customer Service

A'a,!A ' Outstanding Community Service

A'a,!A ' Outstanding Diversity Contribution

A'a,!A ' Outstanding Employee with a Disability

A'a,!A ' Outstanding Team Effort.

Each nomination must be submitted separately.

Because Fort Sill may submit only one nomination in each category for statewide consideration, we will convene a panel to review and make recommendations to the DtCG for selection based on the content of the nomination packages if there are multiple nominees received.

Nnomination packages must be received by the CPAC no later than Jan. 28. Activity nominations must include an endorsement from the activity director/commander or representative, and must be submitted in the format reflected in the nomination package; i.e., four paper copies and one electronic package. Paper nomination packages need not contain the photo as FEB has requested these all be submitted electronically.
