Soldiers have chance to distinguish themselves

FORT BENNING, Ga. -- The Distinguished Pistol Shot badge (top) is one of the top medals a Soldier can earn in marksmanship, along with the Distinguished International Shooter badge and the Distinguished Rifleman's badge. The U.S. Army Excellence in Competition silver and bronze badges (2nd row) are next in precedence, followed by the marksman qualification badge Soldiers earn in basic training. Soldiers can earn the EIC badge (bronze) at the U.S. Army Small Arms Championships Feb. 20-27 at Fort Benning.
