McCarthy, who served as the featured speaker at an Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve luncheon on Jan. 11, witnessed senior representatives from Illinois companies, AT & T, Leo Burnett and Motorola, sign an Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Statement of Support during the event. Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve is a Department of Defense agency. ESGR’s mission is to gain and maintain the support of employers for service in the National Guard and Reserve by increasing awareness of the law, recognizing outstanding support and helping to resolve conflicts through informal mediation.
