What is it'

The U.S. Army's Top Ten Greatest Inventions program recognizes the best technology solutions for Soldiers. Innovations are selected by Soldiers from active-duty divisions based upon their inventiveness, potential benefit outside the Army, and impact on Army capabilities from the warfighter perspective.

What is the Army doing'

The Army's Greatest Inventions program spotlights innovations fielded during 2008 and the determined civilian force that has devoted their careers to protecting Soldiers on the battlefield. The recognized technologies are:
