Sgt. Steven Baca (right), Headquarters and Headquarters Company, U.S. Army Garrison, Fort Sam Houston shows off his yummy chocolate batter at the Teen Center Nov. 5. Baca, a food service specialist, armed with his own chef's knives and utensils, prepared a Chocolate Decadence cake for the teens and showed them how to make homemade whipped cream and a glaze of strawberries and berries to top the cake. "My focus was to teach the teens that they can bake something that is very simple, very hard to mess up, with basic ingredients but will still look elegant," Baca said. Baca, whose specialty is desserts, will be at the Center during the rest of November.
