The 3d ESC is one of the ArmyAca,!a,,cs premier logistics command and control headquarters providing expertise in linking the strategic to tactical levels of logistics. Our mission is to provide sustainment and distribution management anywhere, at any time, in any environment. Just recently in January 2010, we deployed to Port-Au-Prince, Haiti for the HA/DR operation and formed the Joint Logistics Command Headquarters to support thousands of Haitians while sustaining US troops deployed to aid in the humanitarian effort.
While at Fort Knox, we execute our Training, Readiness and Authority (TRA) responsibilities of the 7th Sustainment Brigade at Fort Eustis, VA, the 49th Quartermaster Group at Fort Lee, VA and the 233rd Transportation Company (HET) here at Fort Knox. No matter where and when our Nation calls, the 3d ESC will continue a long and proud tradition of Aca,!A"Sustaining the Line!Aca,!A? in peace time and during armed conflict.
