U.S. Army Europe Commanding General looks forward to training with Latvians

ADAZI TRAINING AREA, Latvia (Nov. 4, 2009)-Gen. Carter F. Ham, U.S. Army Europe commanding general, receives an weapons systems overview from Col. Dzintars Roga, Latvian land forces commander, during his first visit to the country. Ham visited Latvia to advance bilateral cooperation between the two countries and personally thank the Latvian soldiers for their many sacrifices while serving side-by-side with the Americans in Afghanistan. USAREUR will participate in a large military exercise with all three Baltic nations in October 2010.
