TOBYHANNA ARMY DEPOT, Pa. - Tobyhanna hosted the a technology showcase on Oct. 14, which was designed to bring vendors and the work force together to advance Commercial Technologies for Maintenance Activities (CTMA) projects.
CTMA is a Department of Defense program that moves technology from industry to maintenance activities in order to improve warfighter readiness by helping to reduce flow days, cost and improving quality. Forty six vendors and CTMA projects participated.
The showcase is the first that involves the work force, said Rick Foley, an electronics engineer in the Production Engineering Directorate who helped organize the event.
"The showcase was very successful and well received," he noted, adding that it will benefit Tobyhanna by identifying projects that improve operations.

Tobyhanna's missions support all branches of the Armed Forces.
