Joint Interagency Task Force 401 (JIATF 401) has awarded OWT Global the Joint Counter-small Unmanned Aerial System (C-sUAS) Mobile Training Team (MTT) Services contract with an estimated ceiling of $38.2 million to support C-sUAS training requirements across the enterprise.
This contract will provide mobile training teams, develop curriculum, deliver instruction, and assist in synchronizing training of the Joint Services. This contract accelerates JIATF 401’s effort to strengthen C-UAS protection for warfighters, installations, critical infrastructure, and Americans at home and abroad by providing training that applies the lessons learned from combat zones tailored to the warfighter’s specific operating environment.
“Top-tier technology is essential to provide the warfighter with effective C-UAS capability; however, technology is only part of the solution,” said Col. Jonathan Beha, Division Chief for the Data, Analysis, Requirements, and Training Branch of JIATF-401. “Warfighters must receive the training necessary to employ these systems safely and effectively. Working with industry partners helps ensure our warfighters are properly trained to employ C-UAS when and where needed.”
The contract accelerates the training of warfighters to safely and effectively operate proven, top-tier technologies in response to evolving threats. By leveraging a flexible, enterprise-wide contracting approach, JIATF-401 continues to synchronize counter-UAS capabilities across the joint force to deliver state-of-the-art C-UAS capability to the warfighter at home and abroad.
