FORT DETRICK, Md. - U.S. Army Garrison Fort Detrick welcomed new Command Sgt. Maj. Garry Kisko during an assumption of responsibility ceremony Sept. 16, 2026.
Col. Katherine Leidenberg, commander, U.S. Army Garrison Fort Detrick, passed the Garrison colors to Kisko, symbolizing their first official act together and charging him with the duties and responsibilities of the role as her senior enlisted advisor.
Kisko comes to Fort Detrick after serving as command sergeant major for the Army’s 95th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion.
