H2F System Update (Organization): Army Reserve

The Unites States Army Reserve Component — or COMP 3 — H2F Performance Team (HPT) model is a distributed, hub-and-spoke system that delivers expert performance support to geographically dispersed warfighters by combining a small, centrally governed headquarters “hub” with mobile, interdisciplinary “spoke” teams.

These teams, composed of specialized professionals in physical, nutritional, cognitive, and sleep readiness, circulate to high-density clusters, train unit-level Integration Teams, and provide targeted interventions while maintaining strict military oversight and alignment with command priorities.

Designed specifically for the Reserve Component’s part-time, geographically dispersed environment, the model ensures Soldiers receive continuous, evidence-based readiness support during both battle assembly and “the other 28 days,” optimizing readiness while reducing cost and maximizing reach.

COMPO3 places their HPTs at each of their readiness divisions (RD). Their spokes are geographically located in areas that have the highest density of brigades and battalions, to train and educate H2F Integration Teams (HIT) across regional sections (CONUS AND OCONUS).

Reserve HITs consist of: Unit Ministry Teams (UMT), H2F-Advisors, P3T Program Leaders, H2F-Integrators, and Commander's Ready & Resilient Council (CR2C) members.
