Bilingual balloon release marks Red Ribbon Week at Vicenza

USAG Vicenza Deputy Garrison Chaplain (Maj.) Jose Herrera makes his way through a throng of balloons Oct 25 at Vicenza's Hoekstra Field where community members gathered for a balloon release in honor of Red Ribbon Week. Hundreds of balloons with drug-free messages in English and Italian were released.  The event was one of many at Caserma Ederle in honor of Red Ribbon Week, an educational campaign that promotes drug-free lifestyles.
