Legionella testing at USAG Ansbach June 2026

ANSBACH, Germany — The USAG Ansbach Directorate of Public Works (DPW) conducts Legionella sampling of bathroom showers at Army Family Housing (AFH) during the month of June 2026.

The 10-minute sampling process entails allowing a DPW representative and the contractor from the testing laboratory Probanda to enter your home to collect a hot water sample from the bathroom shower.

Samples are sent to the lab with results reported within 6 weeks. If Legionella is reported above the German Final Governing Standards (FGS) threshold, the Garrison will notify residents and take corrective actions.
