ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, Md. – The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) celebrated its workforce with the 10th C5ISR Hall of Fame induction ceremony on April 30, 2026, led by CECOM Commander Maj. Gen. James D. Turninetti IV. The ceremony honored the classes of 2025 and 2026. Starting in 2016 as the CECOM Hall of Fame, the program expanded in 2020 to include the broader C5ISR community. The Class of 2026 inductees with ties to CECOM are Frank E. Fiorilli and retired Maj. Gen. Randy S. Taylor. The Class of 2025 CECOM inductees included Vincent H. Buonocore, Steven F. The Hall of Fame preserves the C5ISR community's history and recognizes individuals who made significant and enduring contributions to the Army. The Hall of Fame includes both Soldiers and Army Civilians from the Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM); Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG); Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) C5ISR Center; Capability Program Executive Command and Control Information Network (CPE C2IN); Capability Program Executive for Intelligence and Spectrum Warfare (CPE ISW); and the Command and Control (C2) Future Capability Directorate (C2 FCD) who have made significant and enduring contributions to our community and the Army. The organizations listed above share a common heritage and a mission of providing C5ISR systems to Soldiers. Membership in the C5ISR Hall of Fame is open to any former Soldier or Army Civilian assigned to the above-listed organizations, whether at headquarters or subordinate organizations.
The C5ISR Hall of Fame supports the AMC Hall of Fame, which began in 2012. AMC solicits nominations from its Major Subordinate Commands for possible recognition of individuals who have made lasting contributions to AMC and the U.S. Army. The AMC Hall of Fame Class of 2026 will be inducted in September 2026. Eight CECOM/C5ISR Hall of Fame inductees have also been recognized by AMC: Victor Ferlise and Edward Thomas (2025); Frank Zardecki (2024); retired Gen. Dennis L. Via (2019); retired Lt. Gen. Emmett Paige Jr. and Dr. Stanley Kronenberg (2017); Dr. Walter McAfee (2015); and Dr. Robert S. Wiseman (2014). Two additional former CECOM employees recognized by the AMC Hall of Fame include Deborah Devlin (2023) and Dr. Priscilla Ransohoff (2022).
Recognizing these contributions highlights the value and dedication of the Soldier and civilian workforce. As CECOM adopts Continuous Transformation, the strength and creativity of its people will be vital to advancing innovation and meeting the Army’s future needs.
