Torun hosts dance party featuring music of the Beatles

On May 15th, a Beatles dance party will be held at the Toruń Municipal Transport Authority tram depot. The Slovenian band HELP! A BEATLES TRIBU-TE will perform.

The event will take place as part of the 4th KOSMOS SZTUKI/ COSMOS OF ARTS Festival.

HELP! A Beatles Tribute is a Slovenian Beatles cover band. They have been performing since 2012, performing over 60 Beatles songs. To date, the band has presented The Beatles' music in 19 European countries, including England, Russia, France, Germany, Finland, Greece, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, and Spain. The band also gave their first concert in Asia, performing twice in Bahrain in 2021. Their next country will be Poland, as we've invited them to Toruń for the Kosmos Sztuki Festival. We want to combine their performance with a dance party to the immortal hits of the British band from Livepool, performed with surprising fidelity by this excellent cover band, who also maintain an original, Beatles-esque stage presence.

The dance will take place in a unique location on Bydgoskie Przedmieście, in one of the oldest tram depots in Poland, the Toruń tram depot on Sienkiewicza Street, which is destined to become Toruń's new creative district. Last year's dance, part of the Kosmos Sztuki Festival, featuring pre-war Polish hits, was a huge success. This year will be even more spectacular.

The dance will take place on May 15th at 7:00 PM at the MZK tram depot in Toruń at 24/26 Sienkiewicza Street. Admission is free.

The 4th Cosmos of Arts Festival is an interdisciplinary festival inspired by space, which will take place on May 14-17, 2026.

The idea of the festival is to present artists and their art representing various disciplines. A unique aspect of this Festival is its interdisciplinary nature, and the placement of activities in various spaces clearly demonstrates the transcendence of exhibition and concert halls, which is the festival’s goal and intention.

Museum Night 2026 showcases history, art and culture across Poland

Museum Night is one of the most important cultural events organized across Poland and Europe. Every year, thousands of visitors explore museums, galleries, cultural institutions and places that are usually inaccessible to the public. In a unique nighttime atmosphere, participants can enjoy free or symbolic prize admission to exhibitions, concerts, workshops, performances and meetings with experts.

The idea behind the event is to open cultural institutions during unusual evening hours and create an engaging program for visitors of all ages. In 2026, Museum Night once again attracts residents and tourists across Poland, with particularly rich programs prepared in Poznań, Toruń and Bolesławiec.

Poznań – One of the Largest Museum Nights in Poland

Poznań’s Museum Night is considered one of the biggest events of its kind in the country. The program includes more than 80 locations, ranging from major museums to smaller galleries and independent art studios. Visitors can take part in concerts, educational workshops, multimedia shows, curator-led tours and special access to spaces that are normally closed to the public.

One of the highlights is the program prepared by the National Museum in Poznań, which welcomes guests from 5:00 PM until 1:00 AM. Attractions include exhibitions dedicated to the work of Wojciech Weiss, lectures about Ancient Egypt and Greece, creative workshops, performances by an ancient-style choir and numerous guided tours through the museum galleries.

Another popular destination is the Enigma Cipher Center, where visitors can individually explore a modern exhibition devoted to the history of breaking the Enigma code.

History enthusiasts will also appreciate the Archaeological Museum at Górka Palace, which has prepared a special “Night with the Orient.” The program features oriental performances, workshops, lectures, dance shows and historical reenactments inspired by Middle Eastern culture.

Families and military history fans can visit the Armoured Weapons Museum, offering historical vehicle displays, reenactments and screenings of the legendary Polish TV series Four Tankmen and a Dog.

Poznań’s edition of Museum Night demonstrates the diversity of contemporary culture — from classical art and local history to modern technology and multimedia experiences.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to see the Czyżowicz family’s collection of models, learn about the secrets of the museum lapidarium and attend the “Magic of Minerals” presentation, during which Krzysztof Blicharski will showcase his impressive mineral collection and speak about his passion for geology.

One of the key highlights of the evening will be the opening of the exhibition “The Male Format of Sculpture,” presenting artists connected with the Bolesławiec artistic community. Guests will also be invited to participate in the “Hidden in Sculpture” quiz with prizes.

Additional attractions are planned at the Center for Ancient Pottery Techniques. Culture Open to Everyone

For years, Museum Night has shown that culture can be accessible, engaging and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of age or interests. It offers a unique opportunity to visit museums in an unusual atmosphere, discover local history and participate in events created especially for this one extraordinary night of the year.

Poznań, Toruń and Bolesławiec all demonstrate how Polish cultural institutions successfully combine education and entertainment, creating memorable events that attract thousands of participants while promoting regional history, art and cultural heritage.
