Aca,!AcCarry a flashlight and use it when crossing streets.

Aca,!AcCross only at street corners, never between parked cars, and never diagonally across an intersection.

Aca,!AcLook in all directions before crossing the street, and obey all traffic lights. Walk, not run, across the street; use the sidewalks, not streets, when traveling from house to house.

Aca,!AcYour child should have at least one hand free at all times to avoid injury in case of a fall.

Aca,!AcMake sure your childAca,!a,,cs mask does not restrict his or her vision and has adequate breathing holes. It is preferable to use non-allergenic makeup for the disguise instead of using a mask.

Aca,!AcUse reflective tape or retro-reflective material for costumes.

Aca,!AcSwords, knives and other such accessories should be made of soft flexible material.

Examination of candy

Aca,!AcInstruct your child not to eat or drink any candy or food until he or she arrives home and it has been inspected by adults.
