The U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command Crisis Action Team Room was dedicated in honor of Mitchell D. Rogozinski on Feb. 12, 2026. This ceremony was a testament to the lasting impact one dedicated individual can have on our nation's security.

Mitchell Rogozinski embodied the virtues of a lifelong public servant. His journey began with a distinguished 21-year career in the U.S. Army, where he retired as a sergeant major and a combat veteran of Operation Desert Storm while serving in the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne). Rogozinski then transitioned seamlessly into the Department of the Army Civilian workforce and brought his invaluable experience and unwavering work ethic to USAISEC as a network engineer. As a project manager, Rogozinski undertook his final and most monumental task: the technological modernization of the entire INSCOM headquarters.

The INSCOM modernization project faced significant hurdles, falling behind schedule in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The project required a leader who could step into a high-pressure environment and deliver immediate results.

"Mitch was exactly the right person, arriving here at just the right moment, to get this project back on track,” David Kim, INSCOM director of support, said. “I am forever grateful for his time here in the command and [for] what he was able to accomplish."

Although the modernization project was no small feat, it aligned perfectly with CECOM’s core mission to deliver integrated C5ISR superiority. Rogozinski’s work was a direct and powerful contribution to two of our most critical lines of effort: posturing the joint strategic support area and preparing our theaters for any contingency.

Mitchell Rogozinski’s expert project management was the driving force that transformed a building into a central hub for global intelligence operations. He laid the foundation for INSCOM’s current operational readiness.

INSCOM Deputy Chief of Staff Kevin Clapp, explained the sheer scale of Rogozinski’s achievements during the ceremony. "Through his hard work with the team, the project achieved critical milestones,” Clapp said. During his speech, Clapp noted the tangible results of Mitchell Rogozinski's leadership, including the modernization of a large data center, the INSCOM Mission Command Center data wall, and the IT infrastructure supporting over 2,500 computers and more than a dozen video teleconference rooms.

The INSCOM Crisis Action Team Room is the legacy of a quiet professional who made excellence his standard. This state-of-the-art facility is a physical manifestation of USAISEC’s commitment to our warfighters by providing the tools and systems necessary to achieve decision dominance and protect our forces worldwide.

While we celebrate Mitchell Rogozinski’s professional accomplishments, we also recognize that such dedication is never a solo endeavor. We extend our deepest gratitude to Rogozinski’s entire family. Their unwavering support was the bedrock on which Rogozinski built his remarkable career.

The Mitchell D. Rogozinski Crisis Action Team Room is now the vigilant heart of INSCOM’s global mission. This room is not only a memorial, but also a living challenge to us all. Through his example of selfless service, Mitchell Rogozinski’s legacy is an inspiration to every Soldier and civilian who serves the U.S. Army and is the standard we must all strive to meet.
