FORT BENNING, GEORGIA – Maj. Gen. Colin Tuley will host the AUSA Portfolio Acquisition Executive Maneuver Ground Industry Day from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center in Columbus, Georgia.

Representatives from industry including non-traditional businesses, start-ups companies, small businesses and business development leaders are invited to this event.

Tuley, the commanding general of Fort Benning and the Maneuver Center of Excellence, was recently named the Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) for Maneuver Ground under the Army’s organizational transformation.

As the PAE, Tuley oversees a massive enterprise responsible for transforming and modernizing soldiers and combat platforms. His portfolio has more than 180 programs including most everything a soldier wears or employs in combat, next generation weaponry, and crewed and uncrewed combat platforms.

Tuley will deliver the keynote speech titled, "PAE Purpose and Vision," to explain the role industry will play in transforming the Army.

"At its core, the purpose of PAE Maneuver Ground is to transform and equip the Army’s ground combat formations with the capabilities they need to fight, survive, and win today and in the future, and we need to do this with urgency," Tuley said. "We need industry partners who understand that urgency and can move quickly, scale production, and design for integration. We’re looking for industry that sees itself not just as a supplier, but as a partner in delivering combat power."

Industry Day activities will include panels and Q&A sessions with representatives from across PAE Maneuver Ground, including senior Army officials from Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and the Detroit Arsenal in Michigan.
