FORT HUACHUCA, Ariz. — As the Army transforms its digital infrastructure to meet evolving operational demands, NETCOM Warrant Officers play a pivotal role. Serving as technical leaders, integrators, and subject matter experts, they ensure modernization efforts remain operationally sound, technically robust, and aligned with Army priorities.

During this engagement, Warrant Officers synchronized enterprise-level initiatives, tackled technical challenges, and refined solutions to strengthen network resilience, security, and interoperability. These efforts reinforce NETCOM’s commitment to delivering a modern, unified network that empowers Senior Leaders, Commanders, and Warfighters to maintain information dominance across all domains.

“Warrant Officers bring unmatched technical depth and continuity to the force,” said Chief Warrant Officer 5 Shawn Petermann, NETCOM Command Chief Warrant Officer. “Their involvement is crucial throughout all phases of modernization. Serving as candid advisors to leaders and technical experts for the force, their insights help connect the Division in the dirt to the Headquarters.”

By uniting Warrant Officers from across the global enterprise, NETCOM continues to enhance its ability to plan, modernize, and operate the Army’s network at scale—supporting the Army’s broader modernization priorities and reinforcing NETCOM’s role as the premier provider of enterprise IT and network capabilities.
