FORT KNOX, Ky. — Hey kids, guess who’s returning to Fort Knox in two weeks?
That’s right – it’s the jolly old, red-suited guy Santa Claus. But don’t be looking for him in a sleigh pulled by tiny reindeer this year; otherwise, you’ll miss him. He’s coming back to Fort Knox aboard a trusty Radcliff Fire Department truck, complete with holiday lights and music.
Santa will be cruising the streets of Knox Hills housing one more time on Dec. 18, beginning at 6 p.m. The communities that will see him are Custer, Farragut, Edwards, Oakland, Godman, Maple Ridge, Chestnut Glen Ridge, Van Voorhis and Pritchard.
Track Santa’s movements in real-time with the phone app “Glympse.” A link to his routes will be provided on the Fort Knox Fire Department’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/Fort.Knox.FD about an hour prior to each start time.
