USASAC held a double retirement ceremony October 31 for Col. Steve Winkleman, left, and Col. Peter Sittenauer, right. Both were regional operations directors in the command—Winkleman over the INDOPACOM/SOUTHCOM/NORTHCOM directorate, and Sittenauer over the EUCOM/AFRICOM directorate. The ceremony celebrated careers that spanned three decades of service to our nation. USASAC’s commanding general, BG Allen Pepper, hosted the ceremony and presented them with their many awards and certificates.
