Monthly Fort Knox retirement ceremony set for Sept. 26

The monthly Fort Knox retirement ceremony will be Friday, Sept. 26 at 3 p.m. in Waybur Theater and hosted by the commanding general of 100th Training Division, Brig. Gen. Martin Jung, and cohosted by the operations sergeant major of 100th Training Division, Sgt. Maj. Stephen Gremore.

The public is invited, and the event will also be live streamed on Fort Knox Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/share/1725uxuT2q/

The following retirees will be honored during the ceremony:

  • Col. Daniel Justis, 100th Training Division, 40 years of service
  • Lt. Col. Adia Terry, U.S. Army Human Resources Command, 23 years of service
  • Sgt. 1st Class, Chris Battle, 83rd U.S. Army Reserve Readiness Training Center, 15 years of service
  • 1st Sgt. Brian Benge, U.S. Army Recruiting Command, 21 years of service
  • Master Sgt. Michael Turner, First Army Division East, 28 years of service
  • John Chadbourne, U.S. Army Human Resources Command, 39 years of service
  • Valerie Parks, U.S. Army Cadet Command, 23 years of service
  • Kevin Claycomb, U.S. Army Reserve Aviation Command, 28 years of service
  • Sheila Hazelwood, U.S. Army Human Resources Command, 30 years of service
  • Jenifer Johnson, U.S. Army Human Resources Command, 42 years of service
  • Michael Wortmann, U.S. Army Human Resources Command, 21 years of service
