During this presentation, we will explain how batteries are constructed, advantages and disadvantages of both flooded cell and AGM or Absorbed Glass Mat automotive batteries. This course will cover all safety aspects of maintaining batteries. It will cover lead acid hazards, personal protective equipment, hardware, materiel safety data sheets and safe battery handling procedures. The third aspect of this training is preventive maintenance; what causes batteries to go bad, how to prevent it and procedures to restore uncharged batteries.
