Andrew Monath, a Public Affairs Specialist at U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, described “Snacks with Saacks” as a relaxed yet purposeful video series that bridges the gap between leadership and innovation within the Army. The series highlights ongoing transformation within CECOM and inspires a broader audience. Mr. Saacks and his guests are shaping the future of Army readiness and modernization. Each episode features short interviews with senior leaders and subject matter experts, paired with informal snack tastings. They blend lighthearted subjects with substantive discussions on Army modernization, artificial intelligence, and continuous transformation to highlight the people and missions of the command. Monath emphasized the series’ alignment with Army transformation initiatives, including AI-enabled sustainment and multi-domain operations, noting that the casual format helps engage broader audiences by making complex topics more relatable. “We’re leveraging the universal appeal of snacks to bring Army innovation to life,” Monath said, positioning the series as a strategic tool for storytelling and leadership engagement.

“The relaxed format helps us highlight the people behind the mission. These aren’t just titles—they’re thinkers, innovators, and mentors,” Monath said.
