Celebrate Oktoberfest with MWR!

USAG Italy and MWR are celebrating Oktoberfest this year and you're invited!

What to Expect:

  • A great event!
  • Traditional Oktoberfest food and drinks
  • Traditional Oktoberfest music
  • Competitions and prizes
  • A festival tent
  • VIP tents with abundant Food platter (drinks not included) and dedicated waiting staff

Please note:

  • All ages are invited!
  • Once you've paid the admission fee, you'll get plenty for free:
  • Activities for the kids (Saturday)
  • Bull rides (adult and youth)
  • Competition entry (except the stein hold)

What's Usually Included with a VIP Tent?

  • Free entry to the event for eight (8) people
  • Private canopy with lighting, a table, and 2 benches
  • Waiter service
  • Food service delivered to your table
  • A VIP food platter with appetizers, main course, and dessert for all 8 people:
  • Appetizer
  • One Bratwurst & one Weisswurst
  • Pretzel
  • Platter
  • 1/2 Pork Knuckle (Stinco)
  • Half Chicken
  • French Fries
  • Sauerkraut
  • Potato Salad
  • Dessert
  • Apple Strudel

VIP Tent users, please note:

  • Wristbands can be picked up at the Arena prior to the event or at the entry kiosk the day of the event
  • You will want to remember your reservation name or number
  • When you arrive on the day of, check in with the MWR staff at the VIP tent podium to receive your designated spot for the day
  • Your VIP tent reservation DOES NOT INCLUDE:
  • Beer or cocktails
  • Drinks or soft drinks

Entertainment Has Traditionally Included:

  • Keg Toss (Friday only)
  • Stein Hold (with prizes)
  • Lederhosen / Dirndl Contest (with prizes)
  • Adult bull riding
  • Children bull riding
  • Live Traditional Music
  • Kids Crafts and Activities

Ala Carte Menu:

  • Plate with 1/2 pork knuckle, roasted potatoes or fries
  • Plate with 1/2 chicken with roasted potatoes or fries
  • Bratwurst sandwich
  • Plate with 1 bratwurst and 1 weisswurst with potato salad or sauerkraut or fries
  • 1 bratwurst with potato salad or sauerkraut or fries
  • 1 weisswurst, mustard, potato salad or fries
  • Single serving of fries
  • Apple strudel
  • (Kids Menu) Hot dog with sauerkraut and fries

  • DOD ID card holders (US & Italian) may request up to fifteen (15) non-DoD ID card holders/guests per day of the event.
