FORT KNOX, Ky. — Suffering from key player injuries and an all-out assault from the Fort Campbell Falcons, the Fort Knox Eagles were unable to break the Falcons’ Army Bowl winning streak, losing 55-18 at their own McAdams Field Sept. 5.

At the 2025 matchup between the only two U.S. Army high school teams in Kentucky, the winless Falcons had everything to gain against the beleaguered Eagles.

The night also featured a flyover by Blackhawk helicopter pilots and a reunion of alumni from the Eagles Class of 1985.

After the game, the teams gathered together at the 50-yard line to honor each other and remember that “we’re family off the field,” according to Falcons head coach Henry Mitchell.
