PICATINNY ARSENAL, N.J. - Leaders and students from the Canadian Royal Military College joined leaders and employees from the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Armaments Center, Joint Program Executive Office Armaments and Ammunition and Project Manager Lethality at Picatinny Arsenal for a valuable exchange of ideas on June 10.
Hosted by the Armaments Center, Royal Military College Director of Applied Military Science, Colonel Christopher Renahan, and Chief Instructor, Lieutenant Colonel Mike Dunning led the visiting students, who are Canadian military captains and warrant officers.
The visitors briefed U.S. Army personnel on Canadian Army Technical Staff programs for officers and enlisted members, including an interesting discussion on research topics related to how transformational and disruptive capabilities are impacting Warfighting.
Following several interesting demonstrations and a tour of highly relevant experimentation and testing facilities, leaders from several Picatinny organizations led an insightful question-and-answer session that highlighted many of the common challenges facing both armies.
