AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy – Civilian employees from U.S. Army Garrison Italy stepped into the world of airborne operations during a site visit to Aviano Air Base June 23, 2025, as part of the American Military Italian Civilian Integration program, commonly abbreviated as AMICI, which was started in 2017.

The group toured the Personnel Alert Holding Area, known as PAHA, where riggers from Kilo Company, Brigade Support Battalion, 173rd Airborne Brigade walked them through parachute packing, equipment inspection and cargo drop preparation.
