Team CECOM,

CG's Quick Take: I've spoken before about the Army's commitment to rapidly testing and fielding new concepts as part of the Transformation Initiative. A recent article I read emphasizes the critical importance of Electronic Warfare, Unmanned Aerial Systems, and Counter-UAS technologies to this effort. CECOM experts play a vital role in ensuring these capabilities are available to the warfighter. Stay informed on these developments – the warfighter relies on CECOM for timely solutions to evolving threats.

As we move forward to support Army readiness, I want to acknowledge some of the impressive field expertise our team is providing to the warfighter. Our CECOM SEC Software Readiness Officers at the 407th AFSB collaborated with FORSCOM to complete updates on over 200 mission systems within the last 60 days, resulting in a 36% boost in performance and cybersecurity. Meanwhile, CECOM Tobyhanna and CECOM ISEC partnered with several other organizations to upgrade key DOD enterprise satellite communication systems at various locations throughout INDOPACOM, including Alaska and Okinawa with upcoming deployments to Guam. These initiatives significantly enhance the DOD's global communications capabilities.

CECOM Tobyhanna Army Depot will celebrate a major milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on 5 JUN at 1000. The opening of this facility marks a significant step forward in the Army's efforts to mitigate supply chain risks for critical weapon systems. Under LTG Mohan's direction, we have developed this capability to adapt to evolving threats swiftly. The facility will enable us to reverse engineer, design, test, and manufacture microelectronics solutions for legacy weapon systems, ensuring their sustained effectiveness and operational readiness. As a result, warfighters worldwide will benefit from enhanced reliability and increased mission success. I encourage you to tune in to the ceremony on Tobyhanna's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/TeamTobyhanna.

The Army is launching a new campaign called Operation Ring the Bell to educate and encourage voluntary bone marrow donor registration. This lifesaving act embodies our core value of selfless service. Each year, over 17,500 Americans are diagnosed with life-threatening conditions that could be treated through bone marrow donation. Your decision could save a life. Thank you for everything you do. Your commitment, expertise, and drive continue to make a difference for our Army and our Nation.

This We'll Defend!
