As we continue our transformation efforts within the Army, it’s vital that CECOM remains committed to bettering not only our organization, but ourselves as well. This transformation is not just structural — it’s personal, professional, and holistic. Our success relies on every one of us being fully engaged, well-trained, and forward-thinking.

To support this, the Army offers a wide-array of resources focused on health, wellness, and professional development. From physical fitness to leadership training, these programs are designed with your growth in mind. I encourage each of you to take full advantage of these opportunities, as your individual development directly contributes to our collective readiness and operational effectiveness.

One key initiative I want to highlight is Tech Talk Tuesdays, hosted weekly by our CECOM G6 team. These sessions provide insight into current technologies and emerging strategies, with a focus on practical tools, such as Microsoft A365, that are designed to enhance productivity and teamwork. Each section should designate a point of contact to attend and share valuable takeaways with their respective teams. More information can be found on the CECOM G6 SharePoint site.

In addition to in-house training, UDEMY Online Learning offers a flexible, expansive platform for continuous education across a wide range of topics. Whether you're brushing up on technical skills or exploring new areas of interest, this resource supports lifelong learning and adaptability.

For your physical and mental health, I urge you to explore wellness resources offered by both CECOM and your installations. For our workforce at APG, the Army Wellness Center offers a variety of valuable programs tailored to support your well-being. For CECOM wellness initiatives, G1 specialists like Keonna Kenion and Gerri Camacho are great resources for support.

I also want to highlight the great opportunities offered by our CECOM Junior Advisory Council. Designed for our GS 1-11 team members, the JAC fosters leadership development, professional networking, and meaningful engagement across the command. From MSC tours to leadership meetings and community service, the JAC is a valuable forum for emerging leaders to make their mark.

As we embrace innovation and modernization, data-driven decision-making becomes increasingly critical. The Department of Defense has fully embraced Power BI to empower all echelons of the Army with advanced analytical tools, supporting a more resilient and informed future.

I want to thank each of you for your continued dedication and excellence. It’s a true honor to serve as your CSM. Together, we are building a stronger, smarter, and more resilient Army.

This We’ll Defend!
