Team CECOM,
Next Monday, 28 APR 2025, Central Technical Support Facility will officially case their colors, symbolizing its final deactivation.
For nearly 30 years, the CTSF workforce has dedicated selfless service to Army innovation and communications, ensuring interoperability with seamless communication and data sharing processes between the old LandWarNet and mission command systems. The work CTSF has accomplished has positively impacted the Army as the force digitized itself in the mid-1990s into the modernized global force of today. During the Army’s early-2000s deployments to Afghanistan, CTSF played an integral role in allied success by building compliance and harmony between equipment and software for Soldiers, enhancing operational success and future Army readiness! Thanks to CTSF, software baselines worked together without compromising cybersecurity, allowing Soldiers to safely share crucial information in the field.
CTSF has had amazing people serve in its ranks, employing some of the Army’s brightest DA Civilians, contractors, and Soldiers. I am beyond thankful and grateful for their service to our warfighters, this command and our nation. On behalf of all of CECOM, I want to express our heartfelt gratitude to each of our CTSF teammates for their unwavering support, dedication, and commitment to this command and our Army.
There will be an MS Teams livestream of the CTSF Colors Casing Ceremony at FT Cavazos scheduled for 1200 (EST) for our CECOM teammates to symbolically show their honor, respect, and gratitude for the CTSF force and their service. CTSF Colors Casing Ceremony Link
I’d also like to wish a very Happy Birthday to our U.S. Army Reserve, which celebrated its founding 117 years ago on 23 APR. In today’s increasingly complex global environment, our Army Reserve is a critical component in supporting and sustaining the Army as it remains ready fight for America when called upon!
To all members of our amazing worldwide workforce, thank you for everything you do. Your efforts are commendable, and we are proud to have you on our team.
This We'll Defend!
