CRYSTAL CITY, Va. - The Commanders in Chief of the House (CinCHouse) organization hosted a "Mandatory Fun" reception Oct. 6, at the Hyatt Crystal City here to honor 450 U.S. Army Forces Command Family Readiness Group leaders from units nationwide.

The reception was the culminating event of two activities CinCHouse sponsored to honor FRG leaders for their assistance to Army leaders, programs and services that support Soldiers and their Families.

"These hard working spouses deserve a little luxury and fun in the midst of such an important training program," CinCHouse.com Founder and Editor Meredith Leyva said.

Leyva explained CinCHouse's goal is to provide FRG leaders attending the U.S. Army Forces Command Family Readiness Group Training Symposium and Association of the U.S. Army's Family Forums the opportunity to relax, to see local sites in the nation's capital and to enjoy networking among themselves.

During the event, attendees enjoyed a variety of food items, beverages and give-a-ways, and they were given the opportunity to receive complimentary makeovers.

Before this event, CinCHouse hosted three "Power-Walk" tours that included visits to the Capitol Hill, the Pentagon and other historic sites. The FORSCOM FRG leaders continue their attendance at the second annual FORSCOM Family Readiness Group Training Symposium.
