The Fort Knox Religious Support Office is hosting its annual Easter Sunrise Service from 6:30 to 7 a.m. April 20 on the Main Post Chapel Lawn (1173 Dixie Street, Fort Knox). In the event of inclement weather, the event will still take place inside the Main Post Chapel.

The featured speaker will be Garrison Chaplain: CH (COL) Matthew Kreider. The entire Fort Knox Community, to include local retirees and those supporting the Fort Knox mission, are invited to attend.

Refreshments served afterward.

Background: Easter is the most important holiday of the Christian faith. Celebrating this holiday is a part of the Garrison Commander’s Master Religious Program promoting the resiliency of the Fort Knox community, Soldiers, Families, DoD Civilians and Retirees.

Those needing access to Fort Knox are encouraged to visit the Fort Knox Visitor Center, located near the Chaffee (main) Gate prior to the event to obtain a pass or obtain a 5-day fast pass by clicking here.
