As the Army’s only nonprofit financial assistance organization, AER provides the most direct path to supporting Soldiers and Army Families. Based 100 percent on the generous donations from Soldiers and American citizens, AER has provided $2 billion in assistance to nearly 4 million members of the Army team since 1942, including $1 billion since 9/11.

AER KICKOFF transcript.

Today is our kickoff event for the AER campaign starting March 1 all the way to June 14.

Something you might not know is that AER covers emergency tickets. I once had an emergency and my wife was back stateside, I wasn't able to focus at work. I was able to talk to a rep and he was able to give the resource to get a plane ticket.

Our goal is to raise over $10,000, and with the help of your support, exceed that.

AER is such an important program in our community, and it has given out so much in financial aid to soldiers in need.

I had a soldier not too long ago, her family got affected by the hurricane out in Florida, and she didn't have the money to fly home or help her family out. Through an AER loan, she was able to buy a ticket home and use some of that money to help her family get back on their feet.

I really encourage you guys to donate to this program because you never know when you're that soldier in need.

Please give big and allow soldiers to help soldiers.

The 2025 Army Emergency Relief Annual Campaign begins March 1 and goes through June 14 — the Army's 250th birthday! In honor of this moment in history, we are aiming to get 25% of the U.S. Army active-duty force to donate during this year's campaign. Installations across the world will host kick-offs to give their Soldiers opportunities to not only donate, but learn how the Army's official nonprofit can support them, retired Soldiers and Army Families.
