JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas (Feb. 26, 2025)- For those looking to expand their knowledge skills the Udemy, an online learning platform that offers a diverse range of courses, offers an excellent opportunity. As the digital landscape continues to evolve, Army Civilians are encouraged to seize the opportunity to enhance their skills, knowledge, and career prospects through the diverse and enriching online offerings.

Udemy, a combination of the words "you" and "academy", is an enterprise tool founded in 2010 that is available to all Army civilians to assist with completing their individual professional development goals. Whether personnel are looking for something to improve job skills or looking to learn something new, Udemy is a good resource.

With over 12,000 courses available, Udemy enables employees and supervisors to create personalized learning paths that align with individual goals, development plans, and interests. Initiated by the U.S. Army Civilian Career Management Activity, the program underscores its commitment to fostering professional and personal growth among the enterprise civilian workforce.

“Taking courses with Udemy has been a great way for me to take responsibility for my professional development and personal growth,” said Jeannette Kuppers, the deputy commander's executive assistant at the U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command. “So far, I have taken eight courses in Udemy that are within the Administrative Professionals Boot Camp series and because Udemy is flexible and self-paced, I can balance learning with my work responsibilities.”

One of the key advantages of Udemy is its accessibility to civilian employees, who can claim licenses for free and enjoy unlimited access to a vast array of educational resources.
