“The logistics learning paths created (in Udemy) are great resources! I share them with my supervisors and employees, to assist with ideas for Individual Development Plans," said Abel Salgado, Director, Logistics and Technical Support Directorate and Career Field Representative, U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command. "I also use Udemy as a key resource for supply chain optimization efforts and for career planning," Salgado said.

The latest statistics show a significant uptake in Udemy usage among Army Civilians, with over 76,000 licensed learners benefiting from the platform—a notable increase from the previous year. This surge in engagement is reflected in the 252,000 hours spent on learning and the completion of 8,480 courses across various disciplines.

"We are thrilled to see the enthusiasm and commitment demonstrated by our workforce in embracing lifelong learning through Udemy. The statistics speak volumes about the relevance and impact of the courses offered on the platform," said Costanza.

As the digital landscape continues to evolve, Army Civilians are encouraged to seize the opportunity to enhance their skills, knowledge, and career prospects through the diverse and enriching offerings of Udemy.

“The availability of Udemy has increased employees’ engagement in self-development,” said Lee Carver, ACCMA Medial Career Field Chief. “Supervisors are able to create personal learning paths that enable crucial conversations during coaching or appraisal discussions,” she said.

For Army Civilians looking to embark on a learning journey with Udemy, creating an account is a simple process with an authorized Army email address.
