Team CECOM –
Last week, CSM Conaty and I had a great opportunity to visit our CECOM team at Fort Carson, Colorado. There, we had some engagements with Army’s 4ID focused mainly on their readiness. Specifically, with the Joint Battle Command-Platform (JBC-P), which provides essential on-the-move digital command and control (C2) information to Soldiers, enabling unique situational awareness for users.
We had some really positive conversations regarding how the division plans to utilize CECOM expertise during an upcoming planned JBC-P rodeo training event to increase their upgrade percentage and bring their equipment up to Full Mission Capable before their scheduled deployment this spring.
Additionally, CSM and I took the opportunity to discuss ongoing challenges to medical sustainment and telemaintenance support with members of the 4ID leadership team to include the Division Surgeon.
It's always incredible to see so many CECOM teammates in this type of operational-focused environment, and witness firsthand the hard work it takes to ensure our warfighters and partners remain well-equipped and ready for anything.
It’s with great pride that I share with you all that our very own ILSC Safety and Occupational Health Specialist, Mr. Jurgen Williams, was recently awarded the U.S. Army Materiel Command Individual Award for Excellence in Safety – Senior Department of the Army Civilian. Jurgen has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication, particularly through implementation of the Army Safety & Occupational Health Management System (ASOHMS), which aims to evolve our workplace safety standards. Great work, Jurgen!
To all our teammates worldwide, thank you all for your continued support and commitment to our Soldiers and our Nation.
This We’ll Defend!
