BRUNSWICK, Md. -- Col. Christopher Chung, commander, U.S. Army Garrison Fort Detrick served as emcee for the opening ceremony of Brunswick’s annual Veterans Day parade.

It is recognized as one of the oldest Veterans Day parades in the nation, first held in 1931.
Fort Detrick’s Color Guard also participated in the opening ceremony, presenting the colors during the national anthem, which was sung by 100-year-old WWII veteran Jack Myers.
