The U.S. Army Security Assistance Command hosted (left) Lt. Col. Gedas Virbukas, Assistant Defense Attaché for Lithuania, last week at USASAC’s New Cumberland, Pennsylvania headquarters. Virbukas met with Deputy to the Commanding General Dr. Myra Gray and Deputy Chief of Staff David DeSantis, and conducted a review of Lithuania's FMS cases and priorities with the command’s regional operations team. The Security Assistance Liaison Office program was also a focus of the visit. SALO Manager Terra Good provided an overview of the program, and Virbukas spoke with an experienced SALO to learn more about program and what it’s like for foreign officers assigned to USASAC.
