Camp Casey ushered in Domestic Violence Awareness Month with a 5K Run at Hanson Field House, Saturday, Oct. 5.

Participants included Soldiers and civilians who work on the installation, running through parts of Camp Casey and Camp Hovey along the route, finishing back at Hanson Field House.

Runners wore purple to help raise awareness for Domestic Violence Awareness Month and show support to those who have suffered from domestic violence.

Sgt. 1st Class Jenna Zephyr, U.S. Army Garrison Yongsan-Casey Provost Sergeant, won first place in the women’s division.

1st Lt. Michael Todd of Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 6-37 Field Artillery Regiment, received first for both the men’s division and overall.
