FORT KNOX, Ky. — In honor of suicide prevention month, the Army Substance Abuse Program Suicide Prevention Program hosted its inaugural Resilient Warrior Community Day at the Sadowski Center on Sept. 27.

Aiming to promote resiliency and raise suicide prevention awareness, the event invited organizations from each tenant of the Suicide Prevention Program – physical, emotional, social, spiritual and family.

“We would like to thank all our installation and 'outside the gate' resiliency partners for 'weathering the storm' with us to bring much needed attention to suicide prevention and resiliency resources to the Fort Knox community," said Dawn Lankford, Lead Suicide Prevention Program Coordinator and Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) Specialist.
