U.S. Army Garrison - Detroit Arsenal, Mich. -- Detroit Arsenal employee Adrianne McLarahmore was recently awarded Installation Management Command’s Stalwart Award.

The Stalwart Award is given to IMCOM employees who distinguish themselves amongst their peers as outstanding civilians who exceed the call of duty to achieve Army and IMCOM objectives. This ceremony honored recipients for their dedication and hard work for fiscal year 2023.

“Ms. McLarahmore epitomizes excellence and innovation as a dedicated employee of the Installation Management Command, leading by example at Detroit Arsenal,” said Davis D. Tindoll, director, IMCOM Directorate – Sustainment, in her nomination letter.  “She continuously performs at an exemplary level and serves as a role model to her colleagues.”

McLarahmore is a management and program analyst for plans, analysis, and integration at the Detroit Arsenal in Warren, Michigan.

“Adrianne’s leadership and expertise in data analytics led to her revolutionize the process for visualizing installation performance data for IMCOM,” said Carrie Mead, garrison manager for the U.S. Army Garrison – Detroit Arsenal. “Her commitment to strategic thinking and adeptness in change management set a benchmark for excellence across ID-Sustainment installations. Her unwavering commitment to customer service reflects her relentless pursuit of excellence and dedication to serving the IMCOM community.”

When challenged with the discontinuation of support for the online strategic management system platform, McLarahmore took proactive measures to ensure that the garrison could still effectively visualize critical Installation Status Report data. She initiated teaching herself the Power BI software, despite having no prior experience with it. Demonstrating her adaptability and commitment to overcoming challenges, she drew upon no cost training resources from Udemy to swiftly acquire proficiency in using Power BI.

Her efforts did not stop with visualizing ISR data. She delved deeper into the potential of integrating additional data sources such as GFEBS for cost data, IMCOM Online for manpower data, and the Interactive Customer Evaluation for customer satisfaction data. This comprehensive approach aimed to provide a holistic visualization tool that could offer an inclusive assessment of garrison performance.

“Adrianne McLarahmore is the definition of a stellar employee, seamlessly embodying and championing the values and principles of IMCOM,” said Denise Morse, chief, plans, analysis and integration. “Her visionary mindset and adept leadership positioned her as a catalyst for positive change at Detroit Arsenal. Her achievements not only signify tangible progress toward our mission and objectives, but also encapsulate the essence of our command strategies.”
