Team CECOM,

Leadership is on the move again this week and we continue to gain an even better understanding of the global CECOM footprint and the world-class sustainment capabilities this team provides the warfighter.

During my first visit to Tobyhanna (in this role), we were fortunate to be joined by AMC Deputy Commander and Acting Commanding General, LTG Mohan, as the team showcased their emerging microelectronics, radar, and SATCOM capabilities and other ongoing modernization efforts.

TYAD personnel also recently conducted fundamental preventive maintenance inspections and services for multiple DoD sites located across the country. Our TYAD team continues to support technical service sites, enabling real-time, on-the-air support for agencies throughout the federal government, including the DEA, Joint Interagency Task Forces, and the U.S. Navy. It has been incredibly meaningful for me to see our forward sustainment capabilities in support of communications resources for the Army and other national organizations.

Elsewhere around CECOM, the USAISEC team is currently providing critical engineering support to NETCOM on the Comply to Connect (C2C) effort, which is one of the Army's strategic compliance resolutions to the DoD's Zero Trust mandate for securing and defending our networks. The C2C initiative plays a pivotal role in providing enterprise network security, and the team at ISEC is delivering for our Army.

Our SEC Data Analytics and Readiness Team recently met with the U.S. Army FORSCOM Deputy Commanding General, LTG Stephen Smith, to discuss improving the Logistics Readiness Review reporting automation. FORSCOM’s DCG was enthused to see our SEC develop LRR reporting templates, as well as the potential to expand the reporting process. With growing interest in SEC’s DART services, I am excited to see how the team continues to navigate and innovate across the data analytics landscape.

I’ll round out the rest of the week with some training in our neighboring states. Thanks to our legal team for coordinating a General Officer Legal Orientation in Charlottesville, VA and to the G3 for Data Literacy training at Carlisle Barracks, PA.

To our workforce, thank you for your continued support, dedication, and commitment to this command and our Army. I look forward to meeting more of this amazing workforce in my CECOM travels.

This We’ll Defend!
