2025 OHA Utility and Move-In Expenses Survey: OHA Utility and Move-In Expenses Survey is live through March 31. The survey data is used to determine the OHA and Utility/Recurring Maintenance and Move-In Housing Allowance paid to service members.

U.S. Embassy in Rome - Federal Benefits Unit (FBU) visits Caserma Ederle: Feb. 14 -15 at Retirement Services Officer (RSO) Office, Bldg 28, Rm 12. for anyone from the Vicenza Military Communitywho wants in-person assistance with Non-DoD benefits such as Social Security, Medicare & MedicAid. CASUALTY NOTIFICATION AND CASUALTY ASSISTANCE OFFICER TRAINING 2025: 18 – 20 March, 24 – 26 June, 23 – 25 September. All classes from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Bldg. 359 on Caserma Ederle. Must be (E-7) & above, (WO-2) & above and (O-3) & above. To enroll, send Soldier’s name, rank, unit and email to: ariel.g.rivera2.civ@army.mil

GERMANY BORDER CONTROLS: Germany has instituted controls at all German borders. When traveling, ensure you have your passport, Soggiorno, SOFA card, ID card, and, if applicable, either TDY orders or absence/leave form. Take an international driver’s license if you are driving across borders. The SETAF license is valid ONLY in NATO countries (not including Switzerland, Slovenia, Croatia, Austria).

PLACE MAIL ON HOLD DURING TDY/LEAVE: Before going on TDY or Leave, personnel should stop by the post office and place their mail on hold. Visit the postal services site to find information on how to forward or place your mail on hold.

REGISTERING FOR ALERTS: ALERT! is the primary DOD emergency mass warning system. Self-registration is available to Soldiers, Family Members, DAC Civilians, and LN employees on a CAC-enabled computer. Be sure to update your profile when you PCS.
