FORT KNOX, Ky. — The United Service Organizations (USO) will be performing a one-night only rendition of the Tony Award-winning musical, Come From Away at the Sadowski Center on Wednesday, Aug. 21.

"Come From Away" is a musical that tells the true story of 7,000 airline passengers stranded in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, in the wake of September 11, 2001 attacks. The musical highlights acts of kindness and hospitality shown by the residents of Gander, who opened their homes and hearts to the stranded travelers. With a poignant and uplifting narrative, the show captures the essence of community and humanity during a time of global crisis.

The show, beginning at 7:30 p.m., is free and open to patrons currently serving as Fort Knox personnel and their families, to include military, DoD civilians, and government contractors. The event is also open to Veterans and Retirees.
