Team CECOM,

This week, CSM Conaty, Ms. Miranda, and I had the privilege of visiting our teammates at Ft. Detrick for an initial command in-brief session with AMLC. I also met with ILSC leaders here at APG. As I continue to rotate through our area of operations, I want to express how meaningful it has been to see the operational impact of your work. The AMLC team in Korea recently initiated a partnership with 8th Army to train and develop new tools using Power BI and ILSC is providing logistics support to both Exercise Keris Strike in Malaysia and RIMPAC in Hawaii. As I learn more and more about this team, I realize there are stories of CECOM’s impact all over the world. Thank you for all you’re doing.

Elsewhere around CECOM, Tobyhanna Army Depot is preparing for the 2024 AMC Data & Analytics Summit, scheduled for July 23 -25 in Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania. The summit will be an excellent opportunity to bring together experts inside and outside of the AMC enterprise to showcase their innovations and share insights. Finding new ways to improve processes and cut costs using data and analytics is a priority for the Army, AMC, and me. I am excited to see Tobyhanna put on a fantastic event. For those interested in more information, there are more details here.

Also of interest to the greater C5ISR CoE, the Army Network Cross-Functional Team Transfer of Authority Ceremony will be Tuesday 23 July 2024 at 10:00 at the Myer Auditorium. Major General Rey will transfer his Authority to Brigadier General Patrick Ellis. The Ceremony will be hosted by General Rainey, Commanding General United States Army Futures Command.

For our APG teammates, please be aware of new installation gate hours effective this week. The 22 Gate (Harford Blvd.) hours will change to 5:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. The 715 Gate (Maryland Blvd.) will continue to operate 24 hours a day.

Thank you for your continued support, dedication, and commitment to this command and our Army. I look forward to continuing to get to know all of you.

This We’ll Defend!
